These textile pieces are born through the initial ideas and experimentation stage of my creative process. Looking at interesting natural textures and forms as inspiration and producing drawings through fabric manipulation, stitch and three dimensional embroidery. Although these are standalone pieces in their own right, they also formed the foundations for my sculptural glass work, particularly the ‘Under the Microscope’ project.
