My design concept for this year’s roundel, centres around the themes of balance and fairness. The scales reference Aldermans Vincent Keaveny’s career in law and significant role within the legal community.The 3 dimensional, golden coins are a subtle nod to his work within the financial sector.There are 9 of them to represent the 9 livery companies within the ward of Farringdon Within.
The modular balancing shapes represent the mounting opportunities provided to talented individuals by the city, something that the Alderman benefitted from himself.
The skyline acknowledges Alderman Keavenys passion for the city of London and his efforts for it’s improvement through development, road safety and rough sleeping schemes.
